Paper Jam Paper broken and a piece inside the DADF showing 005-121 Error Message

I managed to open the ADAF and then I indeed could get out the piece of paper.

The scanner worked for 5 days without any further problem. But now a paper completely jammed inside the DADF. It does not move back or forth.

No flaps to open and to release the paper.

SHOULD ANYBODY READ THIS TEXT AND THINK ABOUT BUYIN A XEROX PRODUCT. NEVER BUY A XEROX. THE ENGINEERS DO NOT THINK ABOUT THAT PAPER COULD JAM. THEY EXPECT YOU TO THROW A NEW PRINTER IN THE BIN. THIS IS AGAINST ANY SAVING OF RESOURCES:

Unfortunately I cant see the piece. Everything is too narrow in order to access it. I opened it however I still can*t get into the part where the paper is stuck.

It would help if Xerox could provide an instruction for dismount the ADAF. Because of this little palper it even does not print. I did not use the printer very much and now it seems I can throw it away because this part is not accessibe. Calling out for repair is more expensive than the whols printer. I am very angry how badly designed this printer is. I think it is not uncommon that paper is stuck. Not allowing to access the papaer is a very bad design.

Try to push the remained rest of paper with a piece of cardstock.

thank you for your response. However, that is what I already tried. My problem is that the paper got stuck inside the DADF. And when I tried to remove the paper it broke and the bottom part now is inside the DADF. From the copy machine in my Office I know that usually the Feeder can be opened as well to remove any stuck paper. But the only part to remove with this scanner are the rollers. However I would need an instruction how to open the DAFD so that I can remove thee remainder of the paper. Unfortunately I called the support but they could not help so far. May somebody in the community has an instruction how to open the DADF. That would be helpful.

Sounds like you have tried everything already, but if not you can look at this article I found for fault code 005-121.  You could also try pushing a thicker piece of card stock through the feeder.  If you're unable to clear the code it would be a hardware escalation, so please call the support department @ 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.

my DADF from since I have the scanner makes trouble and does not really reliably work. Many times the paper has been stuck when I used the double sided feed. So far I could always pull out the paper and continue to work but I was afraid that one day the paper will break when I try to remove it and a piece of the paper will remain in the feeder. 

Unfortunatly this happened today. So during removing the paper a little remainder remained in the DADF. The problem is that the DADF is completely closed and not really accessable.

Has anybody have the same problem and knows how to open the DADF so that I can remove the remainder of the paper. Usually the feeders have flaps to open it, but this DADF from WorkCentre 6605DN is very safely sealed. Or may anybody has a description so that I know how to open it. It should not be too complicated however I would like to avoid the DADF of falling in parts by operating the wrong screw.

The bad thing is that the software is so "clever" that just becaus the DADF is blocked it does not let me print even the printing part is not affected by the paper jam. The display shows a 005-121 Error Message.

Thank you for your support. I am very surprised that I seem to be the only person having such problems because for me the DADF caused a lot of problems in thepast. I could not find any similar report in this forum.
