In my front office, we often find ourselves at the mercy of a large print job (thousands of pages at a time) while an employee often needs to print 1-10 pages. In an ideal world, we could pause the large print job and allow the smaller job in the print queue to complete, before returning to the larger job.
Unfortunately, we've been unable to figure out how to do this. The "interrupt" feature seems to interrupt ALL jobs. And when "stopping" a current job, we are unable to access the job queue on the touch screen without definitively choosing to resume (back to square one...) or to cancel the job. We can move jobs higher in the queue order, but not to the point where the queue job becomes the current print job.
This has been a frustration for years at the office I work at (though I've only been here a few months). Is there a way to do this? Thank you so much for your help.
