Thank you kindly for the reply. I've changed the port to 445 and saved the changes. Waited a couple of minutes, then tried a scan to file and got the same error. Destinaiton 1: Satus........Failed. Still stuck
Tried again and the message on the printer LCD screen said "job failed because filename is invalid". Not sure what this means or where I can look to find it.
As shown in your screenshot, there is no hostname field when you use via IP.
But the port 139 should be 445, I all but certain Apple stopped supporting 139 (Netbios)
Unername and password on the MAC are unchanged. Since I've chosen to go the IP route, I've left the "host name" field empty. Should these fields be completed eventhough I've selected the IP bullet?
Have you changed your username or password on the MAC? In the web interface for the Phaser try re-entering them just in case on the scan to location. Also in the web interface for the Phaser - make sure your host name and network share name are correct.
Hello All,
I appear to be having some difficulty as well, however my "Scan to File confirmation report" shows failed next to Destination 1 under the Job Status. Mac OS 10.11.6. I've attached a screenshot of the issue and would be happy to provide more if needed. This used to work just fine. Permissions are for read & write since I'm the admin and it's my personal computer.

What have I overlooked?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Fabio, i am also have the same exact problem, and i did all that you said but to no effect. The only differance is, this is a whole new domain setup. Ive did every thing and every time i do a test scan to any of the templete the confirmation report shows all Destination Status .........................Failed.
this is the set up i have:
Friendly Name: XeroxScans
Protocol: SMB
Host Name (NetBIOS): HL-DC01.CorporateMain.Local :139
Share: XeroxScans
Document Path: HL-DC01\XeroxScans
Login Name: XeroxScans
I also create and user account "XeroxScans" with full permission access to the folder.
Help!!!!!
no problem!
That worked perfect. Thank you Fabio. I've updated the admin guide (my clients copy) to notate these details/ Created 8 templates and all is working well.
Thanks again!
no slashes
dont use slash anyware , just if you need to define subfolders in the document path
Fabio - what is the proper format for the host name? //hostname \\hostname or no slashes and just hostname ?
Thanks again.
