Re: Phaser 3635 scanning trouble

CherylO-Xerox,

Thanks for your response.  The steps your link lists have been followed prior to my initial post.  As stated in my original post,  I can scan just fine -  from a workstation.  However,  I cannot scan under terminal services from a thin client.  I have spent many hours on the phone w/ tech support to no avail prior to posting this.  Tech support escalated the call several times & I spoke to several different people including the service mgr in my area.  I also contracted a 3rd party tech consultant and so far no one has been able to help.  Not only have I received no help during the last 6 weeks,  but no one has been able to even answer if the machine will operate in a terminal services environment.  Any other suggestions?  Anyone?

Phaser 3635 scanning trouble

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a new Phaser 3635MFP installed on a network under Win 2008 Server r2.  I am trying to pull scan from an application.  The 3635 is not showing up as a twain device in the app.  Per support correct drivers are installed.  Printing works fine on the network & scanning works from the machine, or from a thick client,  but does not work from a thin client.  Is there anything I can do to enable scanning functionality under terminal services from a thin client?  Printing works fine fron a thin client,  but not scanning.   Please advise.
