Phaser 3635MFP power cycling in middle of scanning

Thanks for the reply. I now have the printer in our shop have been periodically trying to duplicate the error. i will install that software and use it as my printer for a while to see if problem is solved.

We use software 20.104.05.002

I have had this issue before and this software has fixed it.

I just installed a brand new 3635 at one of our work locations. It was up and running just fine. I got complaints of the machine power cycling its self in the middle of scanning. Hesitant to believe them (same group that was scanning pages upside down and complaining of blank scans) i went out there my self and sent approx 30 email scans and 30 network scans, all sent flawlessly. When i went to show the main user that it works just fine, it crapped out on me...3 times in a row.

1st time: while searching a name in LDAP directory

2nd time: middle of email scan

3rd time: middle of network scan

The xerox tech on the phone said to software reset (they always say that, never works). I finally pulled the printer and have it at the shop now.

Any one else have this problem, or know of any solutions?
