Or,
Did you get this resolved?
If not try to change the login name to use DOMAIN\user or user - make sure that user has NTFS and Share permissions set correctly. What Operating System are you trying to scan to?
Thank you,
Jordan

can you try port 445 instead of 139 ?
Microsoft changed their protocols
also try upgrading your device, the 3635mfp firmware upgrades contains fixes for SMB scanning
call xerox and ask for this release :20.105.08.000
you need to call , since that release is not public on the site
hello Kimzi,
as I stated in my original post, I already checked with non-hidden share, with same result. I also checked with IP address instead of hostname, again with same result.
BTW is there a log to the device, where I can see more details than just the word "failed" in the confirmation page?
Or
Heya!
The problem could be the "$" in the share path.
I would also suggest you use the IP-Address if possible to see if that helps.
Hope this helps
Thanks!

hello RuiC, I will gladly provide any information, but I must ask you to clarify your request: In the original post I provided a screenshot of the configuration on the device, I also mentioned the full path of the share and subfolder, so what do you mean by "the default or used reposiitory configuration"?
Hi Or,
is it possible for you to post a screenshot of the default or used reposiitory configuration?
Thank you
good day,
our machine is connected to the network and functions as a printer.
we are trying to set-up the "scan to network" feature.
the file repository is on SMB share: \\tels00900001\460902$\workarea
this is how it's configured:
on the machine side, everything seems OK, but the confirmation page says: "failed", without any explanation why.
we have completed the following checks:
* the credentials are OK.
* port 139 is open and listening.
* tested also on non-hidden share.
what are we missing?
thanks for any assistance,
Or
