Nice....let us know how it works out for you. Remember to reset the airport express to factory settings before implementing (just to be safe) since you bought it used.
well...that's a good question. I'm coincidentally troubleshooting that with Xerox in another thread as we speak (scan to desktop). I have a different issue going on due to a "file name", which is my only impediment at the moment. Once that is resolved, I see no issues that would prevent me from scanning wirelessly to my desktop.
Thank you for your response. I will look into it. Is it two-way, i.e. can you scan wirelessly? Take care.
I have the 3635 MFP I use at home. I did not purchase the wireless hardware for it when I bought it new. I did, however, purchase an Apple Airport Express a few years later, and hooked that up to the ethernet port on the back. I am now able to print wirelessly to it, since it's now on my home network. Works like a charm! I believe the Airport Express is $99.00, but you can also buy them used for half the price. Either way, it's something to consider....
Tried that but I guess I should connect it to my PC and set it up that way. Thanks.
You typically only need to use 1111 and nothing else to login when prompted
I tried that too, but when I pressed login on the screen, it asked me for a password but no option to enter a userid. Perhads I can get the login from the former owner.
Tools is only available if you log in as admin. (1111)
Apparently there is no Tools options on my machine. I am guessing that it doesn't function as a standalone.
