We currently have a trial Phaser 6180 MFP which I am trying to configure/prepare/test for when our order for 40+ devices is completed.

I am experiencing problems with scanning to a file.  Scanning to a Windows XP machine works fine, however scanning to a Windows Server 2008 R2 fails with a 016-782 error.  The Security event logs on the server show the account is correctly logging on (Event ID 4672), and I am certain that the share and NTFS permissions on the destination folder are correct.

I am not trying a complicated share path, simply \\server\share$.  I have tried both server NETBIOS name and IP address, and DOMAIN\Username and username@DOMAIN usernames.  The user account I am using has 'Log on Locally' rights to the server, and Digitally sign SMB communications is turned off.

Does anyone have any ideas, as I don;t want to have to use FTP
