Re: Phaser 6180 MFP scan to email

Hi
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.

The feature you are trying to use is not always simple because it utilizes the Email servers and accounts and this may require assistance from an IT professional depending on your familiarity in this.

The return email address should be one that will be displayed to the recipients and the login and password should be for the mail server that your email uses.

I would suggest that you review the following solution:

Configure SMTP (E-mail) Server Settings to Use the Scan to E-mail Feature

http://www.support.xerox.com/support/6180MFP/support/en_US.html?objGUID=3472
(This solution requires knowledge of your network and may require the assistance of your E-mail / Network Administrator.)

If that does not resolve your issue you may consider contacting our specific product support experts at the following link:

Phaser 6180 MFP scan to email

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I'm trying to set up my Phaser 6180 mfp to scan directly to my email.  I've followed the directions in the manual however, it is asking for the return email address.  Where do I find this?  Also, it's asking for a login name and password, where do I find this?  Any help is appreciated.
