How do I remove a virus if it prevents me from download or installing anything?
You need to set up a folder on another server or drive that can be seen on the same network as your scanner. You'll need to know the network path to that folder.
Once you have the folder set up, go into CentreWare for this copier and select the "Scan" tab.
Create a new template, or select one that you would change the properties on. Highlight that template and select what service you like to use(in your case, probably "File") Now, add or edit the file destination. You will need to enter the file path and name for the folder you created earlier and save.
Select what scan preferences you would like to use for the files that that will go into this folder.
Save again.
Repeat this for each scan folder you would like remove from the copier's drive.
Wait, I just thought of something. Do you have your scan folders set up on the printer's hard drive? If so, this is not advisable. You might want to think about moving them to a server.
I guess I don't quite understand. The CentreWare page is served directly from the 8560, so any changes you make there get applied to the machine itself.
I´m scanning with the 8560MFP and than I download the scans with "centre ware".
I can delete the scans with "centre ware" but
they are also at the Phaser HDD...
Anyone an idea how can I delete the Phaser HDD, because
the drive going on full...
Frank
Do you happen to be using the Xerox Scan Utility?
