For login failures after upgrading to High Sierra. A security patch was rolled out that has caused file sharing to “break”.  

 

Specifically for scanning is the fact that you can only choose AFP sharing and not SMB.  To fix the issue

 

  1. Open the Terminal app, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder.
  2. Type sudo /usr/libexec/configureLocalKDCand press Return. 
  3. Enter your administrator password and press Return.
  4. Quit the Terminal app.

Print & Scan for DocuCentre SC2020 with Mac OS X High Sierra

Hi, 

 

  I Have setup the printing driver for Imac, but I facing 2 issues.

 

  1. I not able to change the paper setup orientation of my printing to the printer, which in printer setup as horizotal.  

      (no problem for Portrait)

  2. Scan to smb folder encounter error.
