Printer only Phaser 6115MFP

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I received  service call error 102H on Phaser 6115MFP, which relates to a faulty scanner exposure lamp. Calls to repair facilities indicate that it will not be possible or cost effective to repair. Question is whether there is a way to use the Phaser 6115MFP as a printer only, while leaving the lamp unrepaired.
