Re: Printer scan to network folder gets an error that says file already exists

Hi kviray,

Did you find a solution to this, currently we are using scan to email, and the attachment gets called DOC001.pdf (and increments).

It would be useful if the document could atleast have the date and time appended to the filename.

Printer scan to network folder gets an error that says file already exists

Product Name: WorkCentre 3335/3345
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Our WorkCentre 3335 gives us an error saying File Already Exists. So by default the printer will append a number at the end of the filename (DOC, DOC000, DOC001, etc), once it reaches DOC005 it returns the error that the file already exists. Naming goes back to DOC instead of adding a new number.

I've also tried using different name formats but they do not work. Examples:

Scan%d%m%y

Scan%DD%MM%YYYY

Is there a way to fix this or append time and date option rather than number?
