Is there any way to change the names of the services that appear on the "Services Home" display of a Xerox WorkCentre 7970?
No there is not
We'd like to rename the "Mail" icon to "Scan to Mail".
There is Workflow Scanning and there is email. There is no such Mail icon unless someone created one in Xerox App Studio and sent it to the machine, in which case they can change the name there and send it again.

People are getting confused and choosing the "Workflow Scanning" icon when they really should be choosing the "Mail" icon.
eMail goes to eMail, it can't really get simpler than that.
You can call Xerox )assuming you have a maintenance agreement, and request a FER(Feature Enhancement Request). I don't think they will, but you can try
