Joe,
I didn't try that before since it makes no sense to me why it would work in another broswer and not in IE9( especially since it worked with no problem on the 3300 printer), but I was able to save it using firefox 32.0.3 and hopefully will still be able to in version 33 that is updating right now.
I would highly suggest trying another browser just to be sure. Machine variances exist between different models, they also exist in identical models with different firmware.
Joe,
I am using IE9 and getting the lock up and the PC doesn't lock up, just the tab with the printer browser interface. I did have a Xerox 3300 using the same broswer and never had this problem, backing up or importing the .csv files.
I have seen that in Chrome browser, does it happen in all browsers or are you using one specific one?
Typically the webpage lockups are the browser unless the physical machine locks up as well and requires a reboot after the browser crashes.
I had a 3300 and exported the address book and SMB shares and the first problem is that my current model 3325 won't accept the format so I recreated all entries by hand. So that I wouldn't have to do that again, after all the manual entrees were done, I clicked on Address book/Task/export address book and I then get a prompt asking if I really want to export my address book, and then after clicking yes, the web page lock up. I never get a save to prompt at all and of course I want to save it so that I don't have to go through this again when it decides to loose all my entrees or I get a new multi function printer.
