Does the WorkCentre 6515 support SMB v2 or v3? SMBv2 but not SMBv3

The documentation doesn't make it clear and also it seems your guides don't acknowledge the fact that Windows 10 has disabled SMB v1. Every major OS disabled SMBv1, not just MS in Win10, and the documentation from Xerox has no reason to mention it, the documentation is older than Wannacry  and Wannacry is why everyone disabled SMBv1.

If we follow the guides and YouTube videos, it doesn't work in 2019. In fact it hasn't worked since 2017 when MS went berserk and disabled all things legacy. I set 6515's up daily to scan SMB to Win 10, if the firmware on the printer is current scan works just fine. You just need to format the username and port correctly
