SMTP Port Issue 6128MPF will not accept port 465

I am trying to setup email smtp setting but the printer will not accept port 465 and I have tried to see if there was any new firmware and nothing is listed on the xerox webpage? I also tried forwarding the port from 25 to 465 this is not working either! Any suggestions?

Hi georgopanos,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the instructions for setting up email.  Please see that in the first solution "valid port numbers for the printer are 25 (default), 587 and any number between 5000 and 65535. Port 465 is not supported by the printer for Scan to E-mail."  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
