Scan 5655 SMB Windows 8.1 Login failure

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello, we are unable to scan from Xerox 5655 to Win8.1 computers via SMB. Error "Login failure. Check user password, and/or setups." is printed. Scanning to XP coputers works. We have tried various setups, usernames, sharenames, ports but nothing helped do you have any ideas? Thank you very much. Michal

This problem is solved in firmware 25.054.65.212

I am having this same problem and I know the problem was solved, but I don't understand how.  Please help.

I want to add that I called and spoke to 2 techs.  Both very nice but unable to help.

You will need to update ur firmware to 25.054.65.212 or later.
