Re: Scan book to multi-page pdf? (ColorQube 9203)

yeah , you need to enable the "job assembly" feature  , its on the last tab :)

when you scan , the machine asks for the next page... until you select, "this was my last page"

Scan book to multi-page pdf? (ColorQube 9203)

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello,

We have a Xerox ColorQube 9203.  Is there a way to scan pages from a book into a multi-page pdf?  (i.e. scan to multi-page pdf via placing documents on the glass, rather than using the sheet feeder.) The sheet feeder appears to make multi-page pdf's quite easily. But when I place one thing on the "glass" to scan, the machine appears to only make a single page pdf, rather than prompting me if I want to continue with the next scan and make a multi-page pdf.

We have been making copies of book chapters and then scanning them using the sheet feeder to accomplish this task.  It feels wasteful though!  I don't need the paper copy; I just want a scan. I know that I can combine the pages into one pdf once I receive them in my email, but I really don't want to do that with 30 individual pages/ 30 different emails.

I've looked through the instructions, but just can't figure this out!!  Surely there's an easy way that I'm just missing.  Any help would be appreciated!

Gail
