Dajver,
You can have one account setup for your copiers - copiers@domain.com. If you are using Exchange did you setup Exchange to allow relaying for that IP address or are you using authentication to send the e-mails?
Thank you,
Jordan

Hi,
I have the same thing. We have two WC Pro123, WC 7335 and WC 7125 and sending emails only internaly. Randomly we get 016-767.. with some email no problem at all with some all the time.. wery confusing.. we use Exchange... could it be that we use the same email for all printers, example fax@dot.com ? do we need different email accounts for every machine?
BR,
Heya!
It could actually be both, so you will have to check the mail that the machine sends from too.
Thanks!
Interesting - to the best of my knowledge the settings are correct so that gives me a place to start.
So just so I am sure I understand - I thought the invalid email part was about the email address that was RECIEVING the email not the one sending it.
Thanks for the help
Hey!
What I understand by your statement is that the settings is correct on the machine and it works sometimes?
That must mean that the machine itself works and the problem is either in the network or the mail server.
P.S the email set up as "me" is actually the mail that the printer does use to send the mail.
Thanks!
We have a Workcentre 7346 and we are having problems with scan to email. For some in our office it works sometimes but not all. The only email that works all the time is the one set up as "me" in the system. None of the techs have been able to find the issue. Any ideas? PS the error message is error code 016-767 : Invalid Email address
