Hello George, I know this is a couple years later - but I was having the same problem with two scanners in my business.

I sent the Disablement Code into the printer, but it doesn't give any kind of confirmation that the code was accepted and disabled the feature. 

Does the code require the asterix when being entered, or just the numerical value?

The option to turn off the XSM folder was introduced with new firmware.

It sounds like like you have the Combine Files option selected and you may need to deselect it.

We have a Xerox C7020. We scan documents to a folder that need to be single files. We have this set up, but it creates a folder that these files are in. Unfortunately, this can't work as this folder is automatically read by some software so the files just need to land in there.

Is there a way to stop the Xerox creating a folder & just drop the scanned files into the network folder?
