Scan send to Mail issue

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Dear all, 

initially my printer WorkCentre 6515 was installed in 2019. For scanning documents I use the scan to mail option with my google account. This summer I had issues with the gmail account setting for 3. party apps. However I solved it and it worked fine again. Since a few day's I get the failure code 027-779 for Problems with SMTP. I looked in all the setting there are fine from my perspective. However it still does't work and I have no idea why?

Now I got the second issue. I was looking for the firmeware version, it is 65.31.81, which is quite old. The software updates setting is on active. I learned that I need a bridging version, but I still have trouble to install the firmware. As described in the instruction I went to the Embedded Web Server tab Systems/Software update, however I do not have the option to upload the new firmeware file? I only have the option to switch on and off the automatic software update, with no difference. But I am not able to browse to the update file...

There are my two questions:
1. What could be the reason for my new SMTP problems?
2. How can I install the latest firmware option?
