Re: Scan template: username_domain_dft

I am having the same problem now with the WorkCentre 7120. the only way ive found to delete them is if you uninstall the scanning driver itself from every computer.

Although, some of them will freeze whenever i try to unintsall the driver so i am stuck at the moment.

Re: Scan template: username_domain_dft

On the 7775 model, the proposed solution does not work. The best the Xerox fellows can suggest is a complete overwrite of the firmware, which means starting the configuration from scratch. Using the clone data may contain the offending templates.

Re: Scan template: username_domain_dft

I have some doubts about this procedure.
Have I to create an empty template with the same name of the existing one?

Re: Scan template: username_domain_dft

then i think the software created a template pool setup

what i think you need to do =  create a new template pool on the machine , point it to an empty smb/ftp folder, then refresh your template list, it should be empty again...

Re: Scan template: username_domain_dft

Yes Fabio, I mean the templates on the machine. They were automatically created when we installed the xerox scanning tool, but I prefer not to use it (... well, I notice that it's not possible to uninstall it! very strange... :( is there a workaround?).

The templates are not visible in the web interface, in which I can only delete/modify templates I have created with web interface...

Scan template: username_domain_dft

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello,

I have installed the xerox drivers and scan drivers of my 7545 in all clients. Accesing to Scan function, I noticed that there are some template called username_mydomain_dft that I never created. I suppose that they are automatically created by setup of scan tools. I would like to delete them... how can I do?

Thanks
