Scan to Email SSL/TLS port 465 not working

Hello, i have a problem with scan to email using SSL/TLS port 465 on WC7125 with FW: 71.24.12, if i setup machine to use non-encrypted comunnication over port 25 everything works fine. Desktop email clients in same LAN using same email account as machine have no problem using SSL/TLS port 465.

Any suggestions?

71.24.12 is the specific firmware that fixed an issue with SHA-256 encryption to allow it to work with Gmail and Office365. (Although both now require port 587 and STARTTLS)

71.24.23 is the current highest level, but it contains nothing new on the email front.

I did a quick test and fired off an email through Gmail from a 7120 here and it worked (albeit I got the Security alert email about a possibly unauthorized login and had to first enable Less secure apps)

But you never mentioned what service you tried, your only real hope is to do a Network trace and have a look in Wireshark to find out what the fault is

we are using mail-hosting with explicit settings for SSL/TLS and port 465 for comunnication with SMTP server, not gmail, anyway i will try newest FW 71.24.23.

also we have one wc7835 with 073.015.34540.905956v2 on network controller, same LAN, that is setup to use "SMTPS" (SSL/TLS), port 465 for same SMTP server and account and it's working ok.
