I have a Xerox 5755. I do not know if this problem lies with the Xerox or somewhere else, but here is my situation. When I perform a scan to email, the date is invalid in the list of emails, but when I double click on the email, the time is accurate in the email body. This only happens with a email sent from the Xerox. The date/time on the Xerox is accurate. The date/time on my SMTP server (Linux redhat) is accurate as is the date/time on my PC (windows XP). This happens with a couple email clients, so it is not the email software. I synchronized the time on my PC. Don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?

you need the new firmware released previous week ...
in the rls notes: · Email Time off 1 hour because the device does not support daylight savings time
The inaccurate time displays 7 hours prior to the time the email was scanned. Will the new firmware still solve the problem?
its always better to install the firmware and then test again , then we know its not a firmware issue
