Re: Scan to Email on Docucenter SC2020

I can't access one of your devices because they are not sold in North America, so I will just tell you the things you need.

Server is indeed and it is port 587

But it needs STARTTLS encryption to work, you can try TLS, but it usually works better (if at all) when you choose STARTTLS.

And as of early this year, many devices (older) stopped working with most providers during the server side roll over to SHA-2 being implemented. (And since by their site there are no current Mac drivers, I assume they are no longer supporting the model you own)

By the look of Fuji-Xerox's documentation , it doesn't look good for supporting encryption, which would mean you need to setup a relay for the printer to send through, or just use an online service like SMTP2Go (they are not affiliated, supported, or endorsed by/from Xerox)

Scan to Email on Docucenter SC2020

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to set up scan to email on this MFD using office365

used these settings: / Port Number: 587, and set up smtp authentication account within office365, but keeps getting network error when trying to send to an address that has been created within the address book.

Haven't had any experience with Xerox MFD before so any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Also tried to set up using scan to gmail  but again failed miserably.
