Scan to File/Email does not pick up certain colors

Product Name: Xerox AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

AltaLink C80xx is at Firmware level 01.001.099.33290.

When a document is scanned certain colored text is black instead of the color (green).  Settings have been changed to Color, 400 dpi, Text Original, +1 increase in darkness with no improvement.  No compression settings have been changed.

A VersaLink C405 with no adjustments works fine. 200 dpi

Hi,

First upgrade to the latest firmware : C8070, C8045/55C8030/35.

After that for best result, try the following settings:

- Contrast: -1 or -2

- Disabling MRC ( disabling MRC will inrease the file size).

To disable MRC: access the machine Webpage and log in as admin, select Properties, select Apps, select Default Workflow, select Edit under Compresion Settings, uncheck the Enable check box under MRC Compression (PDF, PDF/A, XPS).

Gabi,

Tried your suggestions and there is no change.  The green text will not pick up even maximizing to 600 dpi. 

There is a  Log# 808264757 now opened for this issue.
