Re: Scan to Folder/SMB version on 3335/3345

No worries. I'd prefer to setup FTP using the existing one, if possible, so those instructions are great!

Grrr Arghh, I will leave my shameful failing and just pass off the excuse that I was thinking the 3315, not 3355.

Actually, that document you linked to suggests that the 3335/3345 does support SMB 2.0.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into setting up an FTP share that way. Thanks!

Nope. SMBv1 only.

As a support guy:

Stick with what you have and go with FTP instead, which can be enabled free and easily in Windows. Or just set it up to 1 PC and map that folder via SMB to the others.

But if you need to buy a machine to do SMBv2, Xerox has nothing even close to that price range that can from what I can see.

Scan to Folder/SMB version on 3335/3345

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello, one of our copiers is a bit older and will not scan to a shared folder using a higher SMB protocol version. We're looking at a replacement, but it's difficult to find information on which protocol these copiers will accept. We're looking at WorkCentre 3335 and WorkCentre 3345. Will these be able to scan with SMB2/3?

Thanks!
