Dear Cathy,
Thank you for your reply.
When initiating scanning from the printer's panel, 6180 MFP/D has four preset scanning resolutions to chose from; 150x150, 300x300, 400x400, 600x600
But, as you suggested, when using a scanning application to scan from the PC, what is the 6180 MFP/D's flatbed scanner's actual scan resolution capacity?
600 dpi? 1200 dpi? 2400 dpi? 4800 dpi?
Where is that technical spec info available in the original documentations of 6180MFP?
Thank you and best regards,
Hakan
P.S. The TWAIN Driver show (gives) option to choose up to 4.800 dpi...!!!4800 dpi?
Dear CathyO,
Thank you for your reply but, did you take into consideration the detail in my question that I need to start the scan from a PC, on the same LAN (ethernet) network that the MFP (Phaser 6180MFP-D) is also connected to.
The PC that I want to initiate the scan is NOT attached to the MFP via USB.
I want to start the scan, from a PC on the same ethernet LAN NETWORK with the MFP, but not connected to the MFP via USB.
Can I do that?
Kindly clarify.
Thank you and best regards,
Hakan
Hello o.s.hakan,
You would need a scanning application to scan from the PC.
