Scan to Network Workcentre 5855

When users here scan to a network share, there are alot of .Dat files that come along with the PDF that is produced. Is there a way to prevent these files from appearing? Users continuously complain about this.

Thank you for using the Support Forum. The forum accepts these file formats jpg,gif,pdf,tiff,xlsx,xls,doc,docx,ppt,pptx.  I hope that helps.

Well, even if we scan as a PDF, it still adds the .DAT files along with it.

Disable the "Job Log" in the Default Scan Template via CentreWare Services.  You will also need to disable in the individual templates that were based on the default template.
