Re: Scan to Network runs at every login

Hi, frevi!

you can desect it in msconfig under startup so that it won't start during logon?

"From a run box type 'msconfig' and select the Startup Tab. You can uncheck the applications you wish to stop from loading with windows here."

Another option would be using the utility "Autoruns" provided on the technet page.

Best Regards

Kimzi

Scan to Network runs at every login

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi. I have Network Scan installed on a Win7 machine for my 3550. There are several user accounts on this PC. Any time anyone logs in, the Windows Access Control dialog comes up asking if I want to let it let it make changes to my computer.

1. Does this have to run every time anyone logs on? It seems to be an initial setup program. If it doesn't, how can I get it to not run please?

2. If  for some reason it does have to run, it seems the only way I can get this to stop is to remove the ACL notification generally, for everything. I want it to work for everything else, I don't want to have to change my windows settings to make a product-specific message go away. How can I get this ACL message at login stop for Xerox Network Scan only?

thx

-Frank
