Scan to PC

Product Name: VersaLink C405 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I have really struggled to set up my C405 and get it to scan to a folder on my laptop. I have followed all of the instructions I can find and questions posted on this forum. Unfortunately, the instruction books do not provide details on how to get this working fully. Is there anywhere I can find a step by step guide to follow to ensure that my windows PC and C405 can be set up so that I can scan directly to my PC.
