That's odd, I have never come across a Xerox that did not give a fault code when you selected the failed job.

Hopefully someone will jump in and help you out, because at this point I can't even guess as to the problem without a Wireshark trace of the job working (1 pager) and the one not working (3 pager) to compare

There  isn't a fault code within the GUI of the printer. It shows under completed jobs. But at the device it shows it failed during the process. When I go to Job Status on the machine and select the job. It shows the Status as Completed with Errrors. Immediate Overrwrite Off. Number of Images 4. the the time submited and the time completed. That is all it shows.

Printer: Xerox WorkCentre 4265. I confirmed its working on our 7970.

Newest Firmware. 50.004

IIS is the SFTP server

PDF file type.

The 7970 has a setting to make a PDF image with multiple pages but that isn't present on the 4265.

What does the Event log on the server state is happening on those jobs?

What fault code does the printer give? (Not what the report says, what does the copier state in Job Status > Completed Jobs when you touch the job)

What printer are you working with?

What firmware is on it?

What is the FTP server? (IIS, FileZilla etc etc)

What File type are you scanning as?

I am having an issue with the Scan to SFTP feature. I have it setup and working for each user. When  they scan a page or 2 it works fine. When I scan 3 or more, it errors out. The error is very helpful and just says "File exists or the failure is unspecified". I don't understand why 1  page would work and not 3 or more. I have checked and there is no limit on the server.
