Re: Scan to desktop 7220

Hi
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.

I would suggest that you review the following solution.

How To Add and Configure a Workflow Scanning Template Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS)
http://www.support.xerox.com/support/WC7220_WC7225/support/en_US.html?objGUID=15385

In addition to step by step instructions at the above link, there is also the following note regarding the Admin password.

NOTE: Users may be required to login as a System Administrator to perform this solution. If prompted, login using the System Administrator username and password. The default username is "admin", and the default password is "1111". See the related items below for additional information.

If that does not resolve your issue you may consider contacting our specific product support experts at the following link:

Scan to desktop 7220

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Xerox local rep set up scan to desktop and all fine until a week ot so ago.  No longer able to scan to the local desktop.  Error message says that its a log in error.  In the temple, accessed by entering the Workcenter interface hru its IP address everything looks fine.  1st question is what user and password should be used in the template? There is a Xerox admin accont created on the machine, however the folder that we need the scans to go to is in a different profile.   The temple is an SMB with the correct IP address of the desk top using port 445.  2nd question besides the folder name do I need to specify a specifc path?
