Re: Scan to desktop

I am having the same issues.  I have done this before but most of the instructions are not anything I understand.  I have literally spent hours.  Are there any step by step instructions starting from the very beginning?  I have upgraded all workstaions to Windows 10 and this seems to be the only issue. I have tried some of the support links and they all seem expired.  I cannot figure out where the settings are in printer.  One instruction said Start in the directory listing page but I do not know what that is.  On printer? In properties?

The settings in Computer/Server Address Book are correct and worked before windows 10 unpgrade.

Re: Scan to desktop

Scan setups are a long way off of simple, and there are many varied ways to do them.

TWAIN/WIA is one

Scan to email

Then there is scanning to a share on the PC, which of course has to be created and shared first

But generically speaking, make sure the port is 445(1)  make sure the PC Domain name or Workgroup is before the username(2) or that it is formatted as an email address, no matter the scenario, it will show correct in the below part (picture 2)

For the username, easiest method to get the exact right format is from the share within windows itself ala: <exactly how it shows within the brackets>
