Please take a look at this article for Scan to Folder, step 6 talks about how to change the file name.  If you are still having issues after trying these steps, I suggest that you call into our support department for assistance @ 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.

Scan to email needs unique filename

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10
Scanning a document on the C8130 results in every PDF file having the same name (Scanned from a Xerox Multifunction Printer), so that we have to manually rename each file when saving to a shared folder.

How can we get the C8130 to automatically assign a unique filename to each scanned document, please?
