Assuming the SMTP Server is a 2008 or newer server running exchange, then you had previously created a custom HUB TRANSPORT for recieving email and relaying from the IP Address of the remote site. Now that your IP Scheme of the remote site has changed, you would need to modify the HUB TRANSPORT in exchnage to allow for the new IP to relay mail....
I changed ISP providers and changed the IP Schema at a remote site that is connected via VPN to our corp site. After updating the copier with a new ip address, subnet and gateway I was able to print to it from both the local site and our corp site. However the scan to email stopped working. No changes were made to the email settings and I have the same email settings in several other remote sites with the same model copier that are working fine. Any ideas on any other settings that need to be updated after an ip change?
