After spending a lot of time trying to set up Scan to email with various email providers, I quit and sincerely ask for support:
Whatever email account I set up in the printer configuration, I get a printed page saying Connection error: <-12> and Authentication error when trying to scan to email.
Tried in vain the following: AOL (as in the example from the user manual) and local accounts (eg. gmx.net, using the SMPT settings as in my email client); SMPT server name or IPv4 address (from nslookup).
As printing over the LAN works: could my problem be related to the Internet access (IPv6, DS-Lite tunnel)? Or to the encryption method (STARTTSL) which is supported by my email client but maybe not by the Xerox printer?
