Scan to email not working with O365 2FA enabled. How do I work around this?

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer

I have a Xerox AltaLink C8035 and have set up the SMTP settings with Microsoft's reccomended settings as well as the MX record per Microsoft's request and I am still unable to use scan to email. Is it possible to use scan to email with 2FA set up due to compliance?
