Scan to email on 7535

When scanning to email on a WorkCenter 7535 it always adds "001" to the attached file's name.  Is there a way stop it from doing that?

Jason, have you contacted second level technical support on this?  there may be a software upgrade that will allow what you are looking for.

I haven't tried that, Margo.  I asked our Xerox sales rep and our local Xerox support and they didn't know.  They were going to ask their technical group; but that was weeks ago and I haven't heard anything back.

 

A software upgrade?  It's not that the option is or isn't working; I don't know if there is an option to turn it off at all.  I can't find such an option in the Xerox documentation.

you might want to touch base with second level technical support and indicate you want to be able to customize the extension on your email attachments.

ask for the latest spar software, there is a new function to give a custom filenaming now
