Lastly, make sure that you always go to EWS > Connectivity > Ethernet change Dual Stack to IPv4, and if you are using a Wifi setup, change the Primary network to Wifi <Even if it isn't hooked up wired and has only ever been wifi, it will still use the wired config that does not exist as the only method to get out. You have to go into Ethernet and change it, which is the reason Wifi only configs always show the IP address as 0.0.0.0 in EWS at the top>
I've set these things up any number of times and still don't feel that there are clear instructions in a WINDOWS networking context. Close perhaps but when it doesn't work - then probably not. Just a bit too magical for me!
About once a year I get one that just doesn't cooperate.
Scan folder is set up as a separate share.
Have followed all the suggestions.
What are the expectations on the workstation side other than the shared folder?
