Hi Irobbins,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. It looks like you are sending scanned documents with the same name to the same folder so the machine is appending the name with the date and time.  Please open up the CWIS for your machine and select the Scan tab.  Select the template you are using and choose edit.  In the file destination area you will see the filing policy option.  Select Rename file from the drop down and the save the changes.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Scan to network issue workcenter 5775

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

When we scan documents we might save the document as "computer", but when it gets to it's destination (which is a folder in our computer) the document name becomes "computer20131029141233". I would like to know how to get rid of the end numbers. Sometimes it cuts off our file name and all we see is "20131029141233".
