Unfortunately the printer is setup on the network as its in another room.
I just reinstalled the problem pc and all is good now.

After struggling with this i eventually just reinstalled the pc and all is fine now . (must be a windows bug).

Sounds like you might be scanning via TWAIN. If possible, I suggest setting up a scan template to go through the PC's IP address. That will be a more reliable way to scan.

This question may have been asked already but i cant find it.
I have a Xerox C235 printer that is currently connected via ethernet and setup on 2 PC's .
1 of the PCs i can scan to from the printer without issue and always shows on the printer (Under scan to PC).
The 2nd PC shows on the printer after drivers have been installed but if i try to use it nothing happens and i get no errors , then after a few minutes that pc dissapears off the printer and will only re-appear after reinstalling drivers again.
PC 2 i can scan manually using the app on the pc (that doesnt give any issues) but is a pain.
I have tried drivers from Xerox and have let windows automatically install it (both ways have the same issue).
I thought it might be a conflict between both PCs but i uninstalled everything from the working pc and switched it off but same issue occurs.
I have done windows updates , checked firewall etc etc .
It is really frustrating and i cant figure it out.
Please if anyone has been able to figure this out , please help me before i pull my hair out haha.
