Re: Scan to usb service is missing

I would talk to your support staff if you don't have access to login to the centreware of the device, as this feature maybe disabled.

If you are able to log into the CentreWare of the device and "Properties" -> "Services" -> "Scan to USB"

The location can change depending on the model you are using.

Re: Scan to usb service is missing

Scan to USB is a service within Workflow Scanning.

It should, if set up properly, automatically prompt you when you load a USB stick in the MFP.

Like this:

Pretty much all Xerox devices do the same thing, the same way and run the same app (Workflow Scanning)

The VersaLink family (Made by FujiXerox) has a USB option on the screen. Their (FujiXerox) older products tended to have a Store to USB feature.

Scan to usb service is missing

Product Name: WorkCentre 5865/5875/5890
Operating System: UNIX

I have 2 5890's I am trying to get working for scan > usb. for the newer xerox machines, this is easy, but on these 2 I am runnning into problems.  machine # 1 first:

Scan to usb is enabled but there is no scan to usb service on the display . When I log in remotely to add the service there is none to add (there are plenty of services, just not scan to usb)

Is this like a weblet that can be downloaded and installed? If so where is it?

Thanks.
