The final result, I want to have the next situation. Some computers work with Xerox divece and for other computers this device will be locked.
I tried turn on "IP filtering", printing work fine, scanner too, but over time computer don't find a scanner. If I rebot the Xerox device - all work fine.
I tried turn off "IP filtering" - all work fine, but all my computers in network find this scanner, and I write some iptables rules that droped packages from scanner.
On my Linux computers I find a file "smfp.conf" which installed with UnifiedDrivers. This file have an XML-format. And I want to find some documentation about options that configured this file.
When you enable IP filtering on the Xerox machine only that IP address can access the Xerox device. Do you want to setup the Xerox machine in that fashion or do you just want to lock the scanning folder the files are in?
Hi. I'm using some Xerox WC3210 via network. On computers installed Linux. I want to restrict access between a computers. If I turn on the "IP filtering" in Xerox, scanner tools find the network scanner, but after a while - don't find. If "IP filtering" is turned off all work fine.
Scanner tool use the smfp.conf file. Is it possible in this file to specify a particular address un Xerox.
