I checked the knowledgebase and it says the optical scan resolution is 600x600 dpi. Here are steps for scanning and it does mention in step 11 where you can adjust the scan settings. If this doesn't help, I would recommend contacting Support at 1-800-821-2797.

I was wondering if i can change scann quality in my equipment. You'll see, I need to scan a document with 300 DPI, but it's not enough. I hope you can help me.
