Scanner disabled error 840.02

That is a scanner fault. Here is an article for more info.

where the machine is brand new, I would recommend calling Support at 1-800-821-2797

Hi. We have the following error code : scanner disabled error 840.02 - it's a brand new multi printer, not being user for 3 months. When we try to install it - that's the error we receive. Can You help?
