Re: Scanner issue

Called Xerox Technical Support and was told there was nothing that they could do.

Upon further investigation, I disconnected the top tray from the machine on power up, ceasing the rollers from rolling. I reconnected the top tray and the rollers did not resume so I attempted to copy a sheet to which I was given a jam error. Tucked down in the roll path, was a very small shred of paper, stuck right in front of the sensor, which was causing all of the above. Removal of shred brought the machine back to normal operation.

Issues I see with this occurrence and result is that I never received an error, only abnormal behavior. If the paper jam is causing the abnormal behavior, I should have received an error.

Scanner issue

Product Name: WorkCentre 3315/3325
Operating System: Windows 7

My printer's scanner wheels will not stop rolling when I turn the printer on. There are no error codes on the display and pressing the cancel button or stop button for the potential job, do not work.
