Looks like you might be scanning via USB. I would try using NAPS2 (Website Link) . I find this application to be helpful when doing scans via USB.

No fault codes.  Just a pop up that says scan failed.  See image.

Could this be an issue with the app?  I think I am using a windows 10 scan app.

Scanner not working properly

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Every time I try to scan to desktop, the scanner fails on the first try and then will scan on the second try with me changing nothing at all.  Any idea why it does this?
