I also wanted to mention there is a very important Service Pack update that is required to be installed to your VersaLink C405 device to ensure proper fuction. Please read more here and take action.

What ever I do, I get the same error: "The scanner failed to complete the overview scan".."Scanner reported an error".. "An error has occured during scanning. Please check the device and make sure there are no errors and originals are loaded. Try rebooting the MFP, if error persists."
I have removed and re-added the printer. I have power cycled both the Mac and the printer several times. I have re-downloaded and installed the driver. I can log into the printers webserver and I can print but it will not scan. What is wrong with it ?
